Shipmates and Family members,

USS Cushing Association members and family, this is an update to the official announcement of the next Cushing Reunion in Seattle. We will be meeting at Rocco’s Specialty Pizza and Bar. Our goal was to avoid the holidays and try and get it done before families with young ones are back to school. Your Association Board has worked diligently to put this all together. We hope you can join us.

• Time – 1100 – 1800
• Place – Rocco’s Pizza Seattle
• Cost – $50/person – PayPal.me/Cushingassociation (Comment “reunion” and # of people. Make sure you use “Friends and Family” to avoid fees.)

This is the official Association meeting. We will be discussing Association business, which will include, amongst other items, finances, election of new board members, and voting for the location of the next reunion.

As stated above, the cost for the Saturday meeting Is $50/person. This will pay for all you want to eat and drink from open bar for the 7 hour block. Family is allowed to attend. Many older kids or spouses have attended past events. Just remember that it is a bunch of sailors talking old stories and some business. There will be an auction towards the end of the event. The Association has benefitted from volunteers and their donations for items to be auctioned off. If you would like donate any items for the auction, please contact me or any board member.

Previous Updates

With continued efforts to raise funds for the USS Cushing 2025 Reunion, and due to a gratuitous donation to the Association, we have some ship coins for purchase. We are asking $50 for the first coin, and $40 for every additional coin purchased, shipping will be included.

Your support will help the USS Cushing Association continue to host our bi-annual reunions. All proceeds go to support this and future reunions.
